Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Rinse the whole turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Turkey
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, and thyme. Rub this mixture all over the turkey, ensuring to get under the skin for maximum flavor.

Roasting the Turkey
Place the turkey breast-side up on a roasting rack in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Rest and Pull
Once done, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. After resting, use two forks to shred the turkey into bite-sized pieces.
