Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the cookies.
- 2

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

- 5
Combine Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 6
Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the cookie dough until evenly distributed.
Baking
- 7
Prepare Baking Sheet
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- 8
Scoop the Dough
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- 9
Bake the Cookies
Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may look slightly underbaked, which is perfect.
- 10
