Method

Fries Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil. Bake for the recommended time until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.

Pastrami Topping

  1. 2

    Heat the Pastrami

While the fries are baking, place the sliced pastrami in a skillet over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through. Remove from heat.

  2. 3

    Melt the Cheese

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the hot fries. Return to the oven for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Coleslaw Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Russian Dressing Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Dressing

In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, prepared horseradish, and paprika until well combined. Set aside.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Dish

Once the fries are ready with melted cheese, top them with the warmed pastrami. Add a generous amount of coleslaw on top, followed by a drizzle of the Russian dressing. Serve immediately.
