Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill the Champagne
Place the bottle of champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.
- 2
Juice the Oranges
If using fresh oranges, juice enough to yield 4 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain if desired for a smoother texture.
- 3
Prepare the Garnishes
Wash and slice the fresh oranges, and rinse the berries. Prepare mint leaves by gently tearing them to release their flavor.
Assembly
- 4
Mix the Mimosa
In a large pitcher, combine the chilled champagne or sparkling wine with the fresh orange juice. Stir gently to combine.
- 5
Serve in Glasses
Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes or glasses, filling them halfway to allow for bubbles.
- 6
Add Garnishes
Add a slice of orange, a few berries, and a mint leaf to each glass for a decorative touch.
- 7
Enjoy Bottomless Mimosas
