Method

Main Dish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the bone-in rib eye from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Drizzle olive oil over the steak and rub it into the meat. Generously season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time to your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Baked Potato

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and prick them several times with a fork.

  3. 7

    Bake the Potatoes

Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.

  4. 8

    Add Toppings

Once baked, slice the potatoes open, add butter, sour cream, chives, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Side Salad

  1. 9

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 10

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Drizzle over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Garlic Bread

  1. 11

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 12

    Make Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, garlic powder, and chopped parsley.

  3. 13

    Spread the Mixture

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves.

  4. 14

    Bake the Bread

Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
