Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

Chill a martini or coupe glass by filling it with ice and cold water; set aside.

  2. 2

Add 3 tablespoons Grimm Farm Gin, 1 tablespoon Lakehouse Vodka and 1 tablespoon Lillet Blanc into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.

  3. 3

Fill the mixing glass with ice (about 6 large cubes) and stir the mixture briskly for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted. If you prefer a slightly stronger Vesper, stir for 15–20 seconds; for a colder, smoother drink stir the full 30 seconds.

  4. 4

Discard the ice and water from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail into the glass using a julep or Hawthorne strainer (or fine mesh if desired) so the drink pours clear.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Express the oils of 1 piece of lemon peel over the surface of the drink by holding the peel skin-side down and giving it a quick twist, then rub the rim with the peel and drop it into the glass as garnish.
