Method
Cocktail
- 1
Build and stir
Add Brickyard Bourbon (2 oz), Cruella Amaro (0.5 oz), simple syrup (0.25 oz), and 3 dashes of orange bitters into a mixing glass.
- 2
Fill the mixing glass with ice until well-chilled (ice should come near the top).
- 3
Stir the mixture briskly for 20–30 seconds (about 15–20 revolutions) until thoroughly chilled and slightly diluted — the mixing glass should feel very cold.
- 4
Place a large ice cube into a chilled old fashioned / rocks glass.

Garnish
Express the oils from an orange peel over the surface of the cocktail by holding the peel skin-side down about 3 inches over the drink and giving it a firm squeeze. Rub the peel around the rim of the glass and drop it into the drink as a garnish.
- 7
Serve immediately. Optionally provide a small cocktail pick if you prefer the peel held out of the drink.
