Method
Prepare juices
If using whole fruit
Wash apples and oranges thoroughly. Core apples and cut into chunks that fit your juicer. Peel oranges if desired (you can leave peel on if your juicer handles citrus rinds). Juice apples and oranges separately according to your juicer's instructions until you have about 1 cup apple juice and 1 cup orange juice.
If using store-bought juices
Measure 1 cup of apple juice and 1 cup of orange juice. Use cold, 100% juices for best flavor.
Measure 1/2 cup cranberry juice and add to the apple and orange juices.
Mixing and balancing
Combine the apple, orange, and cranberry juices in a large mixing glass or pitcher. Stir gently to blend flavors evenly.
Taste the blend. If you prefer brighter acidity, add up to 1 tsp fresh lemon or lime juice and stir. If you prefer sweeter, add 1 tsp honey or simple syrup and stir until dissolved.
Chill and serve
If serving immediately cold, fill serving glasses halfway with ice cubes (about 1 cup divided between two servings). Pour juice mixture over the ice.
Garnish each glass with a mint leaf if desired. Serve immediately.
