Preparation Steps

1

Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender. Add the roasted red peppers, diced tomatoes, and chopped scallions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

3

Cook the Shrimp

Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to taste. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.

4

Combine with Sauce

Pour the chili-marsala sauce into the skillet and stir to combine all ingredients. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5

Mix with Pasta

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.

6

Serve

Serve the spicy shrimp pasta hot, topped with shaved parmesan cheese and accompanied by garlic bread.
