Ahi Tuna Poke Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

1

Marinate the Cucumber

In a bowl, mix sliced cucumber with rice vinegar and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

2

Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Dice the sushi-grade ahi tuna into bite-sized pieces and place it in a mixing bowl. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and mix gently.

3

Make Sriracha Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, and a dash of lime juice. Mix until smooth and set aside.

4

Prepare the Pineapple Ponzu

In a small bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, and lime juice. This will serve as the ponzu sauce.

5

Assemble the Poke Bowl

In serving bowls, place a scoop of marinated cucumbers, followed by the diced ahi tuna. Top with avocado slices, toasted macadamia nuts, and Thai basil. Drizzle with sriracha aioli and pineapple ponzu before serving.
