Beverages (single serving)

Method

Beverage service — single serving bottles

  1. 1

    Chilled bottle service

Keep bottles refrigerated at 34–40°F (1–4°C). When ready to serve, remove the bottle cap and present the closed chilled bottle to the guest or pour over ice into a 20–24 oz cup if requested.

  2. 2

    Pouring over ice

If the guest requests ice, fill a 20–24 oz cup 2/3 full with ice (about 1.5–2 cups). Open the requested 20 oz bottle and pour slowly down the inside wall of the cup to minimize foam. Stop when the liquid reaches approximately 1/2 inch from the rim to avoid spillage.

  3. 3

    Garnish

If requested, add a lemon wedge to Sprite or Fanta by cutting a 1/8-inch slit and placing it on the cup rim. Insert a straw if desired.

  4. 4

For carryout orders, keep bottles upright in a carrier or bag to prevent leaking. For self-service fountain replacement, label bottles clearly and rotate stock (first in, first out) to maintain freshness.

Optional service items

  1. 5

Provide one cup, straw, and appropriate ice portion per bottled beverage when requested. Dispose of used ice and cups per local health regulations.
