Duck Wings and Seasoning
Method
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 225°F (107°C).
Heat the Duck Fat
In a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, melt the duck fat over low heat. Ensure the fat is enough to fully submerge the wings.
Cook the Wings
Once the duck fat is melted, carefully add the marinated duck wings to the pot. Cover and place in the preheated oven. Cook for about 2 to 3 hours until the wings are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bone.
Crisp the Skin
Once cooked, remove the wings from the fat and place them on a baking sheet. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) and roast the wings for an additional 15-20 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your confit duck wings with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of vegetables.
