Directions
Prepare the Ginger
Peel and finely grate the fresh ginger root. Set aside.
Prepare the Lemongrass
Chop the lemongrass stalks into small pieces and crush them slightly to release their flavor.
Blend the Ingredients
In a blender, combine the Jack Daniel's Whiskey, grated ginger, chopped lemongrass, lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy.
Adjust the Consistency
If the mixture is too thick, add a little ginger ale to reach your desired consistency and blend again.
