Build the drink
Fill a highball or Collins glass with large ice cubes. Pour 1.5 fl oz Campari and 1.5 fl oz sweet (rosso) vermouth over the ice.

Top and stir
Top with about 2 fl oz chilled soda water. Stir gently with a bar spoon for 6–8 revolutions to combine and slightly chill without over-diluting.

Garnish and serve
Express the oils of an orange twist over the surface and drop it into the glass (or perch a thin orange slice on the rim). Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
