Sparkling Mineral Water

Optional Garnishes & Add-ins

Method

Prepare Glass

1

Chill glass (optional)

Place a highball or Collins glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare other items to keep your Topo Chico colder longer.

2

If you want a salted or Tajín rim, rub a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip the rim into coarse salt or Tajín to coat lightly. Set the glass aside.

Assemble Drink

3

Fill the prepared glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes (about 1 cup).

4

Pour one 12 oz bottle of chilled Topo Chico mineral water gently into the glass over the ice to preserve carbonation.

5

If using, squeeze the lime wedge lightly into the drink to release a little juice, then drop the wedge into the glass.

6

Gently bruise the mint leaves between your palms to release aroma and place them on top of the drink or tuck them beside the ice.

7

Give the drink a very gentle stir (one or two slow turns) to combine garnish flavors without flattening the bubbles.

Serve

8

Serve immediately while cold and fizzy. Re-cap or reseal unused Topo Chico in the bottle and refrigerate to preserve carbonation.
