Whole Milk

Method

Whole Milk

1

Serve chilled

Pour 1 cup of fresh whole milk into a clean glass. Serve cold straight from the refrigerator.

2

Lightly sweetened (optional)

If you prefer lightly sweetened milk, stir 1 teaspoon of honey or sugar into the milk until dissolved. Optionally sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top and serve.

Skim Milk

3

Pour 1 cup of chilled skim milk into a glass. If you want to sweeten, stir in 1 teaspoon of your preferred sweetener until dissolved. Serve cold.

Chocolate Milk

4

Make chocolate paste

In a small cup, combine 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon sugar. Add 1 tablespoon warm water and stir vigorously until a smooth, lump-free chocolate paste forms.

5

Combine with milk

Pour 1 cup of milk (whole or skim) into a glass. Add the chocolate paste and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (if using). Stir thoroughly until the cocoa is fully incorporated and the drink is evenly colored.

6

Chill or serve over ice

Serve immediately chilled. For a colder drink, pour over a few ice cubes, or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes before serving.
