Method

Crust Preparation

1

Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

2

Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust layer.

3

Pre-bake the Crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until set. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

Filling Preparation

4

Mix Filling Ingredients

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue to beat until combined.

5

Add Eggs and Flavoring

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and salt until the mixture is smooth.

6

Pour Filling into Crust

Pour the filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.

7

Bake the Filling

Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles when moved.

8

Cool the Cake

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Topping Preparation

9

Add Toppings

Once the cake is chilled, spread whipped cream evenly on top of the filling. Sprinkle chocolate chips and arrange maraschino cherries on top.

10

Serve

Slice the dessert into wedges and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious Devils!
