Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Strawberry Shake, regular size

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.

Prepare the Base

Once the sugar is dissolved, add the fresh lemon juice, fresh orange juice, whole cloves, and the cinnamon stick. Stir well to combine.

Add Flavors

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Simmer the Mixture

After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly. Then, add the Broadbent 'Rainwater' Madeira and freshly grated nutmeg into the mixture. Stir until well combined.

Add Madeira

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into individual serving glasses, discarding the solids (cloves and cinnamon stick).

Strain and Serve

Garnish each glass with a slice of orange and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder for an aromatic finish.
