Burger Patties

Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Patties

1

Prepare the Wagyu Beef

In a large bowl, combine the Wagyu beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overworking the meat to maintain its tenderness.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

3

Heat the Grill or Pan

Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

4

Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip. For the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.

Assembling the Burger

5

Prepare the Buns and Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, cut the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Slice the tomato into thick rounds.

6

Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer lettuce leaves, the cooked Wagyu patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, and your choice of ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
