Still Water (single serving)

Method

Still Water (single serving)

  1. 1

    Prepare water

Ensure your water is clean and palatable. If using tap water, run the tap for a few seconds or use a household filter. For the smoothest taste, chill filtered water in the refrigerator or an insulated bottle until cold.

  2. 2

    Add ice (optional)

If you prefer cold water immediately, add 4–6 ice cubes to your glass. Note: ice will slightly dilute water as it melts.

  3. 3

    Pour water

Pour 12 fl oz (about 355 ml) of filtered still water into the prepared glass or bottle. If using a pitcher for multiple servings, pour approximately 12 fl oz per person.

  4. 4

    Garnish (optional)

If desired, add a thin slice of lemon to the rim or inside the glass for a hint of citrus. Alternatively, lightly slap a mint sprig between your palms and tuck it into the glass for an aromatic touch.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while cold. If not consuming right away, cover and refrigerate; consume within 24–48 hours for best taste. Refill as needed.

Equipment care

  1. 6

Wash the glass or bottle with warm soapy water after use and air dry. Clean ice trays regularly and descale or replace water filters according to manufacturer instructions.
