Korean Chicken

Method

Preparation of Korean Chicken

1

Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

2

Add Chicken

Add the boneless chicken thighs to the marinade, making sure each piece is coated well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best flavor.

3

Grill the Chicken

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

4

Rest the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

5

Serve

Slice the grilled chicken and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy in tacos or on its own!
