Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Cidre La Chouette Demi-Sec Organic, 330ml, 4.0% ABV

Wash and core the organic apples. Chop them into small pieces to maximize juice extraction.

Prepare the Apples

Using a juicer or a blender, blend the chopped apples until smooth. If using a blender, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve to extract the juice.

Juicing

In a large fermentation container, combine the apple juice with water, sugar, and cider vinegar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Combine Ingredients

Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture and gently stir to combine. Cover the fermentation container with a clean cloth or airlock to allow gases to escape while keeping contaminants out.

Add Yeast

Let the mixture ferment in a cool, dark place for about 1-2 weeks. Check daily for bubbles, which indicates fermentation is occurring.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the cider into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with caps or corks.

Bottling

Allow the bottled cider to carbonate at room temperature for another week. Afterward, refrigerate before serving.

Serve the cider chilled in glasses and enjoy the refreshing taste of homemade cider.
