In a large pot, bring 20 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 1: Boil the Water

Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of barley malt and 1 cup of corn. Stir well and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.

Step 2: Add Barley Malt and Corn

After 30 minutes, add 3 tablespoons of hops to the mixture. Continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes.

Step 3: Add Hops

Remove the pot from heat and cool the mixture quickly, either by placing it in an ice bath or using a wort chiller.

Step 4: Cool the Mixture

Once cooled to room temperature, add 1 teaspoon of yeast to the mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Step 5: Yeast Addition

Transfer the mixture to a fermentation vessel and seal it with an airlock. Let it ferment for about 1-2 weeks at a stable temperature.

Step 6: Fermentation

After fermentation is complete, if desired, you can add 1 cup of priming sugar to carbonate the beer. Then, transfer the beer into bottles and cap them.

Step 7: Bottling

Let the bottled beer condition at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks before refrigerating.

Step 8: Conditioning

Chill the beer in the refrigerator, then pour into a glass and enjoy your homemade Miller Lite!
