Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Combine and chill

Add aquavit, white rum, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, coconut syrup, passion fruit syrup, falernum and Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker.

2

Shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and well-chilled.

3

Prep glass

Fill a chilled coupe or highball glass with crushed ice, leaving a small well at the top if using a coupe.

4

Double strain and serve

Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared glass over the crushed ice to remove shards and fruit fibers. This yields a smooth, slightly frothy texture and bright appearance.

Garnish & Finish

5

Sprinkle toasted coconut flakes lightly over the top of the crushed ice, float the lime wheel on the surface and tuck the mint sprig into the side of the glass. Optionally express a lime peel over the drink and drop it in for extra aroma.

6

Serve immediately as a tropical aperitif. Provide a short spoon or straw for stirring; enjoy chilled.
