1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or cocktail glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes or fill with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to thoroughly chill it.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz Bounty White Rum, 1 oz strawberry purée, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup.

3

Add ice and shake

Add 4 ice cubes to the shaker and vigorously shake for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted. If using crushed-ice style, skip shaking and proceed to blending (see alternate step).

4

Prepare crushed-ice variation (optional)

If you prefer a frozen/crumbled daiquiri, combine the rum, strawberry purée, lime juice, simple syrup and 1 cup crushed ice in a blender. Pulse or blend on low for 5–10 seconds until the mixture is smooth but still slushy. Do not overblend or it will become watery.

5

Fine strain and serve

If shaken: discard ice/water from the chilled glass, then fine-strain the contents of the shaker into the glass using a Hawthorne or fine-mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and any seeds. If blended: pour the slushy daiquiri into the chilled glass.

6

Garnish

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and optionally a fresh strawberry sliced and placed on the rim. Serve immediately.

7

Notes

Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing simple syrup. For a smoother purée, strain seeds from strawberry purée before using. Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
