Method
Prepare Glass
Make Cocktail
Add vodka, Ancho Reyes, orange liqueur, fresh watermelon juice, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup (if using) into a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice (about 6 pieces) and secure the lid.
Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted.
Double-strain the cocktail (using a fine mesh strainer if available) into the prepared glass over fresh ice, or serve straight up in a chilled coupe if preferred.
Garnish & Finish
Garnish with a small watermelon wedge on the rim and a grapefruit twist or small wheel on top. Optionally express the grapefruit peel over the cocktail to release oils before dropping it in.
Serve immediately and enjoy. Tastes: bright citrus and watermelon with a smoky-warm ancho chile note and a clean vodka backbone.
