Caramelized Onions

Fried Eggs

French Fries

Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from grill and let rest.

Caramelizing Onions

  1. 3

    Slice the Onions

Thinly slice the onions and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Onions

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced onions, a pinch of salt, and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

  3. 5

    Add Sugar

Once the onions are soft and translucent, sprinkle with brown sugar and continue to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until caramelized.

Fried Eggs

  1. 6

    Fry the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and fry until the whites are set and yolks are cooked to your liking. Season with salt and pepper.

French Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into even-sized sticks for frying.

  2. 8

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato sticks to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 10

    Season the Fries

Sprinkle with salt to taste while they are still hot.

Plating the Dish

  1. 11

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, place the grilled ribeye steak, topped with caramelized onions, and serve alongside the fried eggs and French fries.
