Cured Meats

Accompaniments

Method

Cheese Preparation

  1. 1

    Select and Cut the Cheeses

Choose the cheeses: Manchego, Queso Fresco, Aged Gouda, and Cabrales. Cut them into bite-sized wedges or cubes for easy serving.

Cured Meats Preparation

  1. 2

    Slice the Meats

Slice the Spanish Chorizo, Prosciutto, Salami, and Capicola into thin, even pieces. Arrange them neatly on the serving board.

Accompaniments Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare Accompaniments

Rinse the assorted olives under cold water. Place them in a small bowl. Toast the Marcona almonds lightly in a dry pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Arrange the olives and almonds on the serving board.

  2. 4

    Add Spreads and Bread

Spoon the fig jam and honey into small decorative bowls and place them on the board. Slice the fresh baguette into thin pieces for serving alongside the cheese and meats.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Arrange the Board

On a large wooden or ceramic board, start by arranging the cheese in one section, followed by the sliced cured meats. Fill in the gaps with the olives, almonds, fig jam, and honey. Place the sliced baguette around the board for easy access.
