Shrimp Preparation

1

Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Squeeze the juice of the whole lemon into the water and then add the squeezed lemon halves along with the Old Bay seasoning.

2

Cook the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, add the jumbo shrimp to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

3

Ice Bath

Prepare a bowl of ice water. Once the shrimp are cooked, immediately transfer them to the ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5 minutes.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

4

Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce.

5

Season to Taste

Stir the cocktail sauce well and add salt to taste. Adjust the spiciness by adding more horseradish or hot sauce if desired.

Serving

6

Plate the Shrimp

Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter.

7

Serve with Sauce

Serve the shrimp with the house-made cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
