Filtered Water (per serving)

Pitcher / Service (for multiple servings)

Method

Filtered Water (single glass)

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Select a clean glass. If preferred chilled, place the glass in the refrigerator for 5–10 minutes or briefly rinse with cold water.

  2. 2

Flush filter (if first use or daily start)

Run cold tap water through the installed inline or pitcher filter for 10–20 seconds (or per manufacturer's instructions) to remove any loose carbon fines and ensure fresh taste.

  3. 3

    Fill glass

Hold the glass under the filtered-water spout or pour from the filtered-water pitcher. Fill to about 3/4–7/8 full (approximately 1 cup or 240 ml).

  4. 4

    Add ice (optional)

Add 2–4 ice cubes if you want chilled water. Allow the ice to sit 10–15 seconds so the temperature evens out.

  5. 5

    Garnish (optional)

If requested, twist a half wedge of lemon or lime over the glass to release a drop of juice and drop the wedge into the water for a subtle citrus note.

  6. 6

Serve immediately. Offer a straw or coaster if desired.

Filtered Water (pitcher for multiple servings)

  1. 7

    Prepare pitcher and filter

Ensure the pitcher and filter cartridge are clean and the cartridge is installed according to the manufacturer's directions. If the cartridge is new, flush it by running the recommended volume of water through it (usually 1–2 pitchers) and discard that water.

  2. 8

    Fill and filter

Fill the top reservoir with cold tap water. Allow water to pass fully through the filter into the lower pitcher. Repeat filling if additional filtered volume is needed to reach 2 liters.

  3. 9

    Chill and add ice (optional)

Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill, or add 8–12 ice cubes just before serving to keep water cold without diluting it excessively.

  4. 10

    Add citrus slices (optional)

If using, add lemon or lime slices to the pitcher for a light flavor. Do not squeeze; slices should sit in the water to infuse subtly.

  5. 11

Pour filtered water into glasses on demand and serve cold. Replace filter according to manufacturer schedule and keep pitcher refrigerated when not in use.
