Method
Prepare Glass
Rim the glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or coupe glass. Dip the rim into coarse salt or Tajín so it adheres evenly. Set the glass aside.
Mix Cocktail
Add Lunazul blanco tequila (2 oz), Finest Call blood orange cordial (1 oz), Disaronno Amaretto (0.5 oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 oz) and optional simple syrup (0.25 oz) into a cocktail shaker.
Add one cup of ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted.
Strain the cocktail through a fine strainer (or the shaker's strainer) into the prepared glass. For a rocks presentation, fill the prepared glass with serving ice first and then strain over the ice.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge and, if available, a blood orange wheel on the rim or floated on top.
Serve immediately and advise the drinker to enjoy responsibly.
