Method

Falafel Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Falafel Mixture

In a food processor, combine the canned chickpeas, fresh parsley, garlic cloves, ground cumin, ground coriander, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.

  2. 2

    Shape the Falafel

Form the mixture into small balls or patties, about 1 inch in diameter. Place on a tray lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Falafel

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the falafel balls and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Tzatziki Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess water using a cheesecloth or paper towel.

  2. 5

    Mix the Tzatziki

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, fresh dill, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate until serving.

Salad Assembly

  1. 6

    Chop the Vegetables

Dice the bell pepper, tomatoes, and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped bell pepper, tomatoes, cucumber, and romaine lettuce. Crumble the feta cheese over the top and drizzle with Greek dressing. Toss gently to combine.

Naan Preparation

  1. 8

    Grill the Naan

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill the naan bread for 1-2 minutes on each side until warmed and slightly charred.
