Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Ensure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the salmon is marinating, wash and trim the asparagus. In a bowl, combine asparagus and cherry tomatoes, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper. Toss to coat.

  2. 5

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables on the grill alongside the salmon. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate and Serve

Once the salmon and vegetables are cooked, remove them from the grill. Serve the grilled salmon fillets with the grilled vegetables on the side. Enjoy your meal!
