Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruit

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of your chosen seasonal fruit (peeled and sliced if necessary) with 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Toss gently until the fruit is well coated.

  2. 2

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Crumble Topping Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Crumble Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of old-fashioned oats, 1 cup of melted unsalted butter, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Mix together until crumbly.

  2. 4

    Top the Fruit with Crumble

Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.

Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
