Preparation of the Egg Mixture

Mix the Egg Mixture
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined. Set aside.
Cooking the French Toast

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

Dip the Bread
Dip each slice of challah bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated. Allow excess mixture to drip off.

Cook the Bread
Place the coated challah slices in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving the French Toast

Plate the French Toast
Once cooked, remove the French toast from the skillet and place on a plate.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of the French toast. For the nutella option, drizzle with Nutella and sprinkle chocolate chips. For the strawberry option, top with fresh sliced strawberries and drizzle with strawberry puree.
