Marinade

Method

Preparation and Grilling

1

Marinate the Steak

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, and minced jalapeño. Whisk together until well mixed. Add the flank steak, ensuring it is well-coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat. Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

3

Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

4

Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables or tortillas.
