Cocktail Base
Floral & Aromatic Accents
Optional: Sparkle Finish
Method
Cocktail Base
- 1
Measure and combine
Add 2 oz gin, 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur, 0.5 oz dry vermouth, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- 2
Add aromatics
Add 2 dashes lavender bitters and 2 drops orange blossom water into the shaker. The orange blossom water is potent — add drops, not splashes.
- 3
Ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice, cap, and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well-chilled.
Strain & Finish

- 5
Optional sparkle
If using, gently pour 1 oz chilled prosecco or cava down the side of the glass to top, creating a delicate sparkling layer. Do not over-stir — you want a light lift, not to flatten bubbles.
Garnish & Aromatic Finish
- 6
- 7
Add edible flower
Float one edible flower gently on the surface of the cocktail. If you added prosecco, place the flower after topping so it sits on the foam/bubble layer.
- 8
Serve
Present immediately. Optionally offer a small spoon for retrieving the garnish. Advise guests this is a delicate, floral cocktail meant to be sipped slowly.
