Preparation

1

Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your martini glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Ford's Gin, 1 oz of 12-year aged sake, 0.5 oz of Lillet Blanc, and 2 dashes of umami bitters.

3

Shake with Ice

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.

4

Strain into Glass

Empty the ice water from your chilled martini glass. Using a strainer, pour the mixed cocktail into the glass.

5

Garnish and Serve

Optionally, garnish with a twist of lemon peel or an olive if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your Nikko Martini!
