Tiger Prawn

Kimchi Donut

Black Garlic Sauce

Method

Preparing the Tiger Prawn

1

Cook the Prawns

In a bowl, combine the tiger prawns with olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the prawns for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Set aside.

Making the Kimchi Donut

2

Prepare the Donut Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg and add milk and chopped kimchi. Combine both mixtures until just combined.

3

Fry the Donuts

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Making the Black Garlic Sauce

4

Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix mashed black garlic, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes until well combined.

Assembling the Dish

5

Serve

Place the kimchi donuts on a plate, top with the cooked tiger prawns, and drizzle with black garlic sauce. Serve immediately.
