Prepare the Yuca Crisp

Peel the yuca and cut it into thin slices. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the yuca slices until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and pat dry.

Fry the Yuca Slices

In a deep pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the yuca slices until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with sea salt.

Prepare the Almonds

Roughly chop the Marcona almonds and set aside.

Assemble the Dish

On a serving plate, layer the crispy yuca slices, top with pieces of smoked yellowtail, and garnish with chopped Marcona almonds. Drizzle with fresh lime juice and sprinkle black pepper to taste.
