Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Make the Dry Rub
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.
Season the Ribs
Generously apply the dry rub all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let the ribs sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover them tightly with another piece of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar.
Broil the Ribs
Increase the oven temperature to broil. Place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered, for about 5-7 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
