Method
Biscuits
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Cut in Butter
Add the cold unsalted butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Wet Ingredients
Pour in the milk and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in Bacon and Cheese
Gently fold in the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
Drop Biscuits onto Baking Sheet
Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop heaping spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
Cool
Remove from oven and let cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Cinnamon Maple Butter
Prepare the Butter
In a medium bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon.
Mix Until Smooth
Using a hand mixer or a spatula, mix the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
Serve
Transfer the cinnamon maple butter to a serving dish and serve alongside the biscuits.
