Dragon Fruit Base

Method

Dragon Fruit Base

1

Prepare blender

Place a high-speed blender or food processor on a stable surface. Ensure the jar is clean and dry.

2

Add the frozen dragon fruit chunks (1.5 cups) and frozen banana (0.5 cups) to the blender.

3

Add the plain Greek yogurt (0.5 cups) and 3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk to the blender. If you want a sweeter base, add 1 teaspoon honey or agave.

4

Pulse on low to break up the frozen fruit, then blend on medium-high until smooth and thick, scraping down the sides as needed. The consistency should be scoopable (like soft-serve). If too thick, add 1 teaspoon more milk at a time; if too thin, add a few ice cubes or a few more frozen fruit pieces.

5

Taste and adjust sweetness if desired. Transfer the dragon fruit base to a serving bowl, spreading it evenly.

Fresh Fruit & Toppings

6

Arrange the toppings on the dragon fruit base: place the diced fresh pineapple (1/2 cup) in a small cluster on one side of the bowl.

7

Place the sliced fresh strawberries (1/2 cup) next to the pineapple.

8

Fan the thinly sliced banana (1 medium) along another section of the bowl.

9

Sprinkle the unsweetened shredded coconut (2 tablespoons) evenly over the bowl.

10

Scatter the granola (1/2 cup) over one area for crunch.

11

Finish with a light sprinkle of chia seeds (1 tablespoon) across the top for texture and nutrition.

12

Warm the 1 tablespoon honey for a few seconds in the microwave (5-7 seconds) or gently in a small pan so it pours easily, then drizzle the honey evenly over the bowl.

13

Serve immediately with a spoon. If not serving right away, keep chilled and add granola just before serving to maintain crunch.
