In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Dip the chicken breasts into buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

Fry the Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the coated chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and let rest on paper towels.

Prepare the Waffles

If using homemade waffles, prepare them according to your recipe. If using store-bought, heat them as per package instructions.
