If using fresh black cherries, wash them thoroughly and remove the pits. If using frozen, allow them to thaw and drain any excess liquid.

Prepare the Black Cherries

In a small bowl, soak the raisins in warm water for about 10 minutes to plump them up, then drain.

Soak the Raisins

Brew a strong cup of mocha coffee using your preferred method. If you don't have mocha coffee, you can use strong espresso.

Brew the Mocha Coffee

In a large mixing bowl, combine the black cherries, plumped raisins, brewed mocha coffee, and sugar. Stir gently to mix the flavors.

Mix the Ingredients

Slowly pour the Valpolicella Ripasso into the mixture. Stir gently until everything is well combined.

Add the Wine

Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled in wine glasses.
