Cocktail

1

Chill glass (optional)

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while you build the cocktail to ensure a cold serving temperature.

2

Add pear vodka, St-Germain, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.

3

Fill the shaker with ice (about 3/4 full or roughly 1 cup) and cap tightly.

4

Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker feels very cold to the touch and the outside is frosty.

5

Dump the ice water from the chilled glass (if used). Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or a chilled martini glass to remove small ice chips and any pulp from the citrus.

6

Slowly pour a 1/2 oz splash of cranberry juice down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon so it drifts into the drink and creates a gentle rosy tint near the surface.

7

Garnish with a thin pear slice and/or a lime wheel on the rim. Serve immediately.
