Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Rinse them under cold water and pat dry with a towel.

2

Fry the Brussels Sprouts

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the Brussels sprouts cut side down and season with salt and black pepper. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

3

Prepare the Duck Eggs

In a separate pan, fry the duck eggs sunny side up until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny.

4

Assemble the Dish

Once the Brussels sprouts are crispy, remove them from the heat and sprinkle with nigella seeds and bonito flakes. Serve immediately topped with the fried duck eggs.
