Method
Prepare Fruit
Peach prep
If using fresh peaches, peel (use a paring knife or blanch to loosen skin), pit, and chop until you have about 1.5 cups of packed pieces. If using frozen peaches, measure 1.5 cups and let sit 2–3 minutes to slightly loosen if very hard.
Slice and break the banana into chunks (about 1/2 cup) so it blends evenly.
Blend Smoothie
Add sweetener and flavor
Add 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup), 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice to brighten flavors. If using optional boosts, add 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed and/or 1 scoop vanilla protein powder now.
Blend
Start the blender on low speed for 10–15 seconds to break up fruit, then increase to high and blend 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add up to 2 tablespoons (30 ml) more almond milk and blend 5–10 seconds more. If too thin, add a small handful of ice or 2–3 tablespoons more chopped peaches and pulse to thicken.
Finish & Serve
Taste and adjust sweetness; add another 1/2 teaspoon honey if desired and blend briefly (5 seconds).
Storage: If not consuming right away, transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate up to 24 hours; shake or stir before drinking (texture will thicken).
