Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the Black Angus Reserve beef tenderloin with salt and crush the black peppercorns. Press the crushed peppercorns onto the surface of the beef.
- 2
Wrap with Bacon
Wrap each piece of beef tenderloin with 2 slices of bacon, securing them with kitchen twine or toothpicks if necessary.
- 3
Sear the Beef
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin and sear on all sides until the bacon is crispy and the beef is browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 4
Roast in the Oven
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 10-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare).
- 5
Rest and Serve
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the beef rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
