Method

Crab Cake Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Cake Mixture

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, egg, panko breadcrumbs, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Crab Cakes

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Chill the Crab Cakes

Refrigerate the crab cakes for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.

  4. 4

    Cook the Crab Cakes

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let them drain on paper towels.

Lobster Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the Lobster Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add chopped lobster meat, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Plating

  1. 6

    Serve

Place the crab cakes on a serving plate, drizzle with lobster sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
